Photo Mixing

I was recently going over my iPhoto picture albums and seeing what looks good and looks bad. I have to admit that some of the pictures of midwest sunsets are much better then ones from Southern California and beaches. The best one are better then the best ones. However, so cal sunsets on average are better.

Then are some pictures of me standing on some blue ridge real estate which are just fantastic. These were from visiting my pastor friend. I really enjoy the hills there as I am now living in flat land.

Global Burring

With all the weather going on in the United States I am amazed at how odd everything is. On one side we hear Jan is the hottest month ever. Then we have all these cold spells. Today we have about 7 or so inches of snow on the ground. I am wondering if there is anything in the ole' catholic bible that says something along the lines of, really hot and really cold.

To Receive Mail

I was thinking about the history of mail the other day. The first incoming Mailboxes were developed in the 1700's in Russia and is was called the Tzar box. This was a letter box that would give letters to the Tzar. It would also function as a suggestion box of such. The Tzar was the ruler of Russia prior to the 1917 Revolution.

Oddly enough mass Mailboxes showed up first in 1948 in Russia. These boxes were light and were stolen. Later the box was made much heavier. Today, we see them all over.

Global Warming? Where?

I like weather. I like warmth. I do not like to much warmth. I saw Al Gore's dumb movie with his happy charts, dumb jokes, complaints and soreness of losing the election, and his fancy presentation folder printing.

So what does Al Gore complain about? Global Warming.

I am trying to figure out where this alleged global warming is happening? For the next several days out highs will be in the negative on the F scale. not on the wimpy C scale. Let me tell you -11f degrees is COLD!

Wear the Seat Belt!

I just had a friend who was on his way to do something as mundane as pick up as business card printing. He had an accident. The sad part was his daughter was driving and she was thrown from the car and was in the middle of road. She had enough thought to text a friend on a cell phone for help. Why not call 911? I am not sure. However, helped arrived and my friend is okay. His daughter is another story.

Why am I saying this? With his daughter now in coma and unlikely to come out of it? Wear seat belts. Most of this could have been avoided with a simple seat belt. My friend will most likely have a limp for the rest of his life because of a crushed leg. His daughter may die.

So please remember them in your prayers. And wear your stupid seat belt.
